The ACCA Annual Conference is the premier event for cemeteries and crematoria.

13 - 16 October 2019
Alice Springs Convention Centre

The ACCA Annual Conference took place from 13-16 October this year, and ACCA welcomed delegates, international guests, business speakers, exhibitors and industry representatives to the heart of Australia for this three-day event.

This event took place in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. We showcased a variety of professional speakers in an iconic location that impressed all attendees. Topics that were covered included a wide range of industry related matters such as irrigation and resource usage; decomposition research; war graves insight, burial/cremation bill creation, cemetery planning for the future, and an array of unique case studies.

ACCA also introduced as part of the conference program, the 'ACCA International Symposium' where delegates heard from industry speakers from around the world who shared their perspective on their country's burial and funeral customs, and the challenges that are emerging in today's landscape that significantly affect the way they deal with servicing their communities.

Delegates also had the rare and unique opportunity to attend a cemetery tour of the Alice Springs Garden Cemetery to view it's features and facilities, and distinctive landscape.

The ACCA Trade Exhibition included an array of exhibitors who were on hand to communicate with delegates about their products and services in the Trade Exhibition. We thank each of the exhibitors for their contribution in making the event a success.
