The Board

The Board of Directors consists of office bearers:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Five Executive Members

Voting Rights

The appointed Authorised Representative of each Full Member has voting rights. All other types of Members or representatives of Members may attend and speak at ACCA meetings and conferences but they shall have no voting rights and are unable to be nominated for a position on the Board.

Annual General Meeting

The ACCA Annual General Meeting is usually held in conjunction with the Annual ACCA Conference.

Terms of Office of Directors

Each Director is elected for a term of three (3) years, and at the expiration of that term may re-nominate for a position as a Director except that the ACCA President and the Vice-President may not serve consecutive terms in the same position

We are delighted to announce Dean Matthews from Geelong Cemeteries Trust as the newly elected President of ACCA, and Denise Ora from Metropolitan Memorial Parks (NSW) as Vice President. Their leadership, experience, and passion for the sector will guide ACCA into an exciting new chapter.

We also warmly welcome Debbie Hedger from Sunshine Coast Regional Council (QLD) & Kerena McDonald from Toowoomba Regional Council (QLD) to the ACCA Board. Both bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise and is eager to support and strengthen our wider ACCA membership.

At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Robert Moore of Fraser Coast Regional Council for his dedication and valuable contributions over the past two years. Robert has stepped down at the end of his term, and we wish him every success in his future endeavours. We also extend our thanks to outgoing ACCA President Lauren Hardgrove from Catholics Cemeteries & Crematoria for her dedicated and commitment to the association over the past 9 years.
