The seminar this year will focus on furthering your knowledge around topics including Vicarious Trauma, Setting Professional boundaries, Managing Challenging behaviours, Interpreting and understanding the two industry standards that pertain to cemeteries & crematoria in Australia, and a visit to and tour of the Kulangoor cemetery.

The Annual ACCA Conference & Trade Exhibition is the largest gathering of industry professionals and product and service suppliers in Australia. This year we are introducing a new format that includes breakout sessions covering a wide range of industry topics and presentations from subject matter experts. 

This years theme is “Together, we are one,” emphasizing the importance of collaboration and inclusivity. 

The three-day conference offers insights into innovative trends, international issues, and concepts affecting the cemeteries and crematoria sector, with opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals and recent entrants alike. Delegates are provided with professional development and education from industry specialists in areas such as burial, cremation, memorialisation, grief & bereavement, emerging trends, economic and industry outlook, and a trade exhibition showcasing the latest products & services from within Australia and internationally.

Annual Conference & Trade Exhibition

Education Workshops & Webinars

ACCA is committed to providing ongoing training and education opportunities to all ACCA members and the broader cemeteries & crematoria sector. These training and education workshops can be in-person and onsite at your cemetery or crematorium, or online if that works better for you and your team. In addition to the interactive training workshops, ACCA Education also provides Lived Experience webinars. These Lived Experiences are real life accounts of grief & bereavement from people who have been generous (and brave) enough to share their stories with us. These stories bring about informed and supported conversations which help to educate our staff and enable greater empathy and understanding when dealing with our bereaved client families.
