📅 Dates: July 16–17, 2025
📍 Locations:

  • Day 1: Mt Gravatt Cemetery, Brisbane
  • Day 2: North Stradbroke Island

Join us for an engaging and educational two-day event:

  • Day 1: At Mt Gravatt Cemetery, participate in sessions on safety standards, multicultural burial and funeral practices, and explore an industry trade show.
  • Day 2: Travel to the picturesque North Stradbroke Island, where you’ll learn from the Quandamooka People about Aboriginal funeral and burial traditions. Explore the history of Dunwich Cemetery and the island’s cultural heritage.

A special thank you to Brisbane City Council and Redland City Council for their invaluable support. ACCA will coordinate travel to and from North Stradbroke Island.
