The ACCA Mid-Year Seminar will return in 2027, bringing together cemetery and crematoria professionals for two days of education, industry discussion, practical learning and networking.
The seminar program will feature a mix of educational sessions, industry updates and practical case studies, exploring current issues, emerging trends and topics relevant to the day-to-day operation and future management of cemeteries and crematoria.
As part of the program, delegates will also have the opportunity to step outside the conference room and participate in a site visit or industry tour, providing practical insights and the opportunity to learn from operations and initiatives within the host region.
Throughout the event, delegates will have plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues, share experiences and exchange ideas, as well as engage with industry suppliers and partners.

Building on the strong success of previous ACCA Mid-Year events, we are pleased to once again offer a dedicated trade show component. Hosted within the Mantra Hotel conference space, the trade show will provide delegates with the opportunity to engage directly with industry suppliers, explore a range of products and services, and learn about the latest developments and innovations across the cemetery and funeral sectors.

That evening, we invite you to unwind and connect with fellow attendees over a casual networking dinner at The Waterfront Restaurant in Hervey Bay. The restaurant is a short 7-minute walk from the Mantra Hotel and is the perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues and industry leaders. Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere while sharing insights, stories, and experiences with fellow delegates.

The second and final day of the seminar will continue at the Mantra Hotel with a focused program of educational and professional development sessions delivered through to lunchtime. Designed to build on Day 1, these sessions will reinforce key learnings, share practical takeaways, and encourage meaningful discussion between delegates and presenters.
The seminar will conclude by midday, providing a smooth and convenient finish that allows attendees to travel home comfortably, avoid peak traffic, and reflect on the insights gained over the two days.

Following the launch of ACCA’s Roadshow Training Program in 2026, we’re excited to continue the initiative into 2027, bringing practical and relevant professional development directly to regions and local communities across Australia.
The Roadshow Program was introduced to make industry-specific training more accessible, giving cemetery, crematoria and memorial park professionals the opportunity to participate in targeted training closer to home.
In 2027, ACCA will continue to build on the program with a range of practical and technical training opportunities designed around the evolving needs of our sector. Programs will focus on areas such as workplace and operational safety, compliance, risk management, workforce wellbeing, supporting grieving clients and best-practice cemetery and crematoria operations.
The Roadshows are open to ACCA members and the wider industry, providing opportunities to develop practical skills, strengthen professional capability and connect with industry colleagues within each region.
